Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Tuneo, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms of service.
License Grant
Tuneo grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use the app for playing your own music files. You may use Tuneo to:
- Play music files you own or have rights to use
- Create and manage playlists
- Organize your music collection
- Add custom artwork to your tracks
- Access pro features (with valid in-app purchase)
Pro Features & In-App Purchases
Tuneo offers premium features available through in-app purchases:
- Sleep Timer: Automatically stops music after a set duration
- Theme Selection: Customize your app's appearance with multiple themes
- Cloud Integration: Import and backup music files using Dropbox
By purchasing pro features, you agree to:
- Apple's App Store Terms and Conditions
- All purchases are final and non-refundable (except as required by law)
- Pro features are linked to your Apple ID and device
- Features may be restored on the same Apple ID
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- You own or have proper licenses for all music files you import
- Your use complies with applicable copyright laws
- You maintain backups of your music collection
- You manage storage space on your device appropriately
- You understand that Dropbox integration is optional and governed by Dropbox's terms
- You can revoke third-party access (like Dropbox) at any time through their respective platforms
Copyright Compliance: You may only use Tuneo to play or manage music that you have legally acquired. We do not endorse or permit copyright infringement, and you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with copyright law.
Dropbox Integration (Pro Feature)
The Dropbox cloud integration feature allows you to import and backup music files. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:
- You are logging into your own Dropbox account
- You can revoke Tuneo's access through your Dropbox connected apps settings
- Dropbox's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to your use of Dropbox services
- You are responsible for managing your own Dropbox storage and account
Dropbox Service Disclaimer: We do not control Dropbox's services, uptime, or availability. Any issues with Dropbox accounts or data storage are governed by Dropbox, not Tuneo.
Supported File Formats
Tuneo supports the following audio formats: MP3, FLAC, WAV, AAC, OGG, and M4A. Files must not exceed 100MB per track. We reserve the right to modify supported formats in future updates.
Data and Storage
Tuneo's core functionality operates entirely offline on your device. You acknowledge that:
- All music files remain in your device's TuneoMusic folder
- Playlists and preferences are stored locally
- Core features do not transmit data to external servers
- You can manage files through the iOS Files app
- Pro features (themes, sleep timer) work offline after purchase
- Dropbox integration requires internet connectivity and your explicit authorization
Disclaimer
Tuneo is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or compatibility with all audio files. Use of the app is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
Tuneo shall not be liable for any loss of data, music files, or damage to your device. We recommend maintaining backups of your music collection. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the app and any in-app purchases.
We are not responsible for:
- Issues arising from third-party services (like Dropbox)
- Loss of data during cloud synchronization
- Interruptions in third-party service availability
- Copyright violations from imported content
System Requirements
Tuneo requires iOS 13.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone and iPad. Approximately 50MB of storage is required for the app installation. Additional requirements for pro features:
- Internet connection for in-app purchases and initial pro feature activation
- Internet connection for Dropbox integration (when used)
- Sufficient storage space for imported music files
- Valid Apple ID for in-app purchases
Termination
Termination by You: You may terminate your use of Tuneo at any time by:
- Uninstalling the app from your device
- Revoking third-party app permissions (such as Dropbox access)
- Contacting Apple for refund requests (subject to Apple's refund policy)
Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Tuneo if you violate these Terms or misuse the app.
